A couple months ago, my phone stopped charging and I brought it into Sprint and I was informed that the mini USB port on my phone disconnected from the main board on the phone and that they couldn't repair it. So we brought it into a mini phone repair store last week to get it fixed and just got it back when they showed us that they repaired it by plugging it in and the clock showing up. When I got home I tried plugging the phone in as well, the clock would show up and stay there, but the phone still wouldn't charge. What could the possible problem and/or resolution be?

Try to borrow a battery and see if your's is defective. If the clock is starting AND the charge indicator shows on the battery symbol ( lightning bolt) then it is usually the battery. Do not but anything except an OEM blackberry battery.
