I am looking for a bar code scanner that can read the IMEI # inside any BlackBerry. I have found ones that can read the newer models, but I need on that can read models all the way back to 7230's. Any suggestions are welcomed.

Why do you want to read the barcode? Would you not be able to do an internal lookup?

I would like to use it for inventory purposes since I might get a few hundred at the time

I use the Symbol LS4208. I don't have any 7230's around anymore, but I've never had a problem with it.
