I really miss the style of holster I had with my 7290. I had the OEM swivel leather holster that was open. It didn't fit my 8700 so I bought an OEM one but it had a flap so I got a Fortte one. Now with the 8100 the OEM one has a flap, I read bad reviews on the Tuff As Nuts holster and I did not like Seidio's plastic holster after a couple days of use. Can anyone recommend me a leather open holster with a swivel clip at at all? I didn't see on on Fortte's site they all have flaps. I also want the holster to have a magnet to put the 8100 to sleep when it's holstered. Please post your suggestions or links. Thanks in advance.

I bought a Samsonite medium case at Walmart for $8. It is just like the slide in case I had for my 7105 only this actually fits the 8100 better as it has a wrap around lip on the rear. Its easy to take the 8100 in & out but it hugs it securely. It does not have a magnet so I put a real small rare earth magnet I had in it and it works like a charm. I don't like the strap so this is perfect for my needs.

I had one of those! Great holster I wish RIM had OEM ones for the Pearl also. If you find what you're looking for please post pics or at least info on it. I'd consider buying a holster like that.
