Question BES with GroupWise - new installation

Please Login to Remove!

Help please...
our environment - GroupWise 7.0.3 with BES 4.1.4.28 (blackberry manager).

Everything looks good, there are no errors in the logs, when I go to add a user, there are no users to select from . The address book sync log shows that if found users.

What have I done wrong?

This is my first installation of BES.

Thanks

I can't claim to have much experience of installing BES on Groupwise - whenever I approach a Groupwise install it's usually warily and carrying a big stick...

However, if it had been Groupwise 6.5 (specifically the Groupwise 6.5 client on the BES) I'd have said make sure that the Groupwise side is working by sending an email from the Groupwise client. That'll also show up any language DLL problems (which you shouldn't get in the US). Making sure it's the latest available 6.5 client + FTF might help.

Groupwise 7 (connecting using SOAP) I can't comment on (never tried it).

I am using the latest version of the Groupwise 6.5.7 client. I can send and received e-mails from the defined admin account. The back end is 7.03 using SOAP. There are no errors in the logs.

Presumably from the Groupwise client the system address book looks nicely populated with all the right entries?

Are we talking one postoffice here or several?

Is trying API rather than SOAP access an option?

Did you setup a trusted application key?
