Hey everyone. I recently sold my 7250 to someone online. They had some issues with registering it to Verizon but we cleared that up. Now he claims I need to give him my username and password to "reset" the email on the device. Before selling it I wiped the device entirely. I'm just checking it with you BB gurus as I don't know what username he wants, cuz I don't recall ever giving my BB a username, and the password I used is also used for various other emails accounts and such. Please advise... what is he asking for? Is it the BIS username and password? Should I just meet with him and input it myself? What should I do?

He's most likely wanting the username and password for your BIS. However, Verizon should just clear out the PIN number for him so he can create a whole new account of his own. He shouldn't have to have that.

Even if you do give him the BIS username and password it won't help him. He'll still not contact Verizon to get them to delete the BIS account - then he can create his own account.
