Default Blackberry Messenger missing/delays

Please Login to Remove!

Not all PIN messages are reaching and many are not in sequence.

Found this with messages between AT&T, TMobile and Verizon in the Seattle/Portland region.

Anyone else noticing delays ?

*** RIM confirms that this is a known issue and they are working on a resolution. (MKS461565 which is an internal only article at this time)

Maybe it's an old issue and I faced this today

Same here in Cincinnati. Have bbm'ed and PIN'ed to AT&T and Verizon with delays. I guess that makes it a RIM issue and not a carrier thing.

I've not been getting internet connection since last week unless I'm on Wifi. Noticed it over the weekend. Called AT&T support and they had me delete some service books, and when I resend, they never make it to the phone. I can also send out a bbmessenger to another bb, but when that bb replies, I don't get the reply on my phone. AT&T has referred me to RIM, haven't had a chance to call them yet. Atlanta here, BIS. Bold, running 4.6.0.307

RIM fixed me up, they said it was a network thing with my phone, something like one cell tower handing off to another didn't go right, so RIM didn't know where my phone was; I could send up, but nothing could send down. They did a few things on their end and I'm receiving everything again. Not sure if this was related to the original problem, but I'm fixed up now.

No data here again today (except when I'm on Wifi). Have contacted AT&T support, did the usual steps and they're sending me to RIM again. Per AT&T support chat:

Anyone know what's happening on RIM's end? I will contact them and I'm sure spend an hour on the phone with them and have them fix it again.

BBM on Sprint was effected this morning as well. Slow, and messages delivered out of sequence.

If you are having issues with your BlackBerry where you can either Send but not recieve, or only can get data on wifi, do the following.

Disable WIFI on your device, pull the battery, wait a few seconds, put the battery back in and let the device boot, once you reboot you should be fine, give it a few minutes, and turn your wireless back on. If you have continued issues contact your carrier and tell them the exact symptoms you are having, they should know exactly what to do from there. (SHOULD)
