It works with my car if you want to trade? Just kidding. I wish I could help you, but haven't seen this problem before.

You might want to try going to your contacts list on the 8900 and the selecting Options, then select General Options and play with the First Names or Last Names and Lines or stripes settings.

Hi clivekornitzer,

What software you're on? 4.6 or 5.x? I have a Bold 9000 that does the same on a Volante. Wife's curve does the same. Took it down to Peter Hamilton service and an engineer that seemed to know his way round it messed around with OPP (it would be under device properties in services either as OPP or Object Push or OPEX depending on the software you're running) Give it a try.

After that was tinkered with it now displays properly with the wife's curve but not with my Bold :( I suspect it has something to do with bb software 5.x but usability on 5.x is miiiles apart for me to go back to 4.6 for it.

I noticed you're on O2. Where do you service the car? If you're in London drop me a message, i live in South Ken but work in Canary Wharf. If any of those work for you stop by and we can take them down to Westfield Village and try to get some answers of the engineers. Directly mailing Aston might not be a bad idea either but im not too fussed about it.

Good to see another stoner around ;)

I had the same problem with my Bentley. I sold the Bentley and bought a Lambo and the problem was solved. I think I smell some bovine frcal matter.

My pleasure. I have a low tolerance for BS in any form. You are more than welcome to buy into any illusion you see fit.

SgtRick.....stomping out BS worldwide.
