Hi Guys!!

I just got my first ever BB 9700 yesterday from Carphone Warehouse on T-Mobile Upgrade (went through the Warehouse because their phones are unlocked and not stuffed with branded stuff !!)

Well turned it on and linked my hotmail account to it .. great !

Only a couple of issues (so far!)

1. In downloads I can't see APP WORLD ... Doesn't this come standard with the phone or does it always need downloading? Will I be able to download facebook through this APP WORLD?

2. Found that when I inserted the battery it was 1/4 full so thought I won't recharge it until it completely dies , so I can get a good 1st charge out of it ... But whilst on the phone today to a mate the battery symbol was red (fair enough!) and suddenly cut my call off .. and the message read something like "battery to low for radio use" .. But I no nothing about a radio being on in the phone .. !!

As you see how much of a newbie I am .. lol .. and any help on these queries would be great ... and if some of you BB experts can give me some more hints and tips that would make my day !!

Nope, it is not standard.
You need to download it.
And yes, you can get facebook through it. But you can get facebook from BlackBerry Wallpapers, Ringtones, and More facebook (remove the space)

When it says radio it means the radio anntenna that you get the network signal from.
If the battery if low, it will turn off.
And no, you do not need to let it completely die before charging, infact that makes it worse for the new li-on batteries.

the "radio" you mentioned also confused me as a first time BB user, it refers to the mobile network... not an actual radio.
