Default what exactly is OTA?

Please Login to Remove!

I ask as I thought it was were you input your number and were sent the app or such...because it does do that sometimes...others when they say OTA as you click it it asks to save file or download...im confused

Over the air means in a Blackberry sense you download directly to the blackberry device most likely to install a program. This is the simple way to do it.

You go to the download link from your BlackBerry browser/internet icon and it downloads directly to your device.

The other way is to download the program to your computer and use Desktop Manager/Application Loader to install it to your device.

The OTA links that you're clicking on are meant to be clicked on via the blackberry. Not your PC. I hope that helps.

Only certain file extensions will work OTA - I think .jad.

If you try to open a .alx (the desktop install file) then it will do the save thing.

I think I have that right....someone will correct me in a minute I'm sure
