Default EDGE to edge then back to EDGE after reboot

Please Login to Remove!

I went to a mall and didn't pay much attention till I noticed I was on edge in the mall with 4 bars. I figured I let it go till I got close to home I decided to do the double soft reboot and I was back to EDGE. First time I seen this on my 8310 on .69 OS. Any ideas why? Is there a better way to get the phone back to EDGE without reboot? Thanks.

Turn the wireless radio off and then back on.

What 3rd party apps you running. I have .69 and unloaded documents to go. I noticed that when trying to back up the device, it would error out and stop when backing up documents to go. I am up for 1 week on .69. GPS works, Camera works, Video works, BES sync works. I only have one 3rd party app - follow-up and that's it. Rest is stock...

And, as part of regular troubleshooting - pull the battery and reboot.

I think I have doc to go too. I am on BIS.
3rd party apps I have AmazeGPS, Google Maps, Same Cell Capture RDM+, Iskoot, Xplayer, Surewipe.
As routine I don't have anything running in the background other than the OS defaults.
Is this a .69 issue? Should I go back to .55 ?
