Used only for calls and SMS . No data services activated (off ). No call waiting. When someone calls me in addition to the selected ring tone I can also hear busy sound in background. No idea what may cause that, certainly did a cold reboot.

Try changing the ring tone and see if goes away. It could be the ring tone normal sound of the one your using.
