BES 5.0.0MR2 on a single Win2008 x64 (non R2) was connecting to a Win2003 Exchange 2007 server just fine. Upgraded to 5.0.1 and while msgs are going out to the BB devices my BAS won't start. When I go to the webconsole login IE can't display the page.

In HKLM/system/currentcontrolset/services/BAS-AS/Parameters my JVM Library is set to C:\Program Files (x86)\Java\jre1.6.0_15\bin\client\jvm.dll JUSched is telling me there's a Java update I can download/apply but I don't know if that will make things worse or not.
Found a thread here with someone having the same issue but none of those fixes helped.
I've seen references to key store registry edits but I'm not brave enough to try them until this weekend.
Any suggestions on moving forward would be appreciated. Can I just try reinstalling over it (and which version?) or do I need to uninstall first?
Meant to mention that I ran setup.exe and unchecked the Admin Service, then reran it checking the box again and can now get into the web admin console.
