Hi Guys

I just completed a BES migration to new hardware using the BES migration kit.

All seems to work find except the MDS service, I now have two listed

The old one which still works and the newer one which starts then stops straight away

I copied the database over as required and after finishing the migration I changed the MDSconfig table int he database

The only field I changed was MDSHOST to servername.domain.local from local as I was advised to

The MDS service still will not start with this error appearing in the event logs


The description for Event ID 0 from source BMDS cannot be found. Either the component that raises this event is not installed on your local computer or the installation is corrupted. You can install or repair the component on the local computer.

If the event originated on another computer, the display information had to be saved with the event.

Any one have any ideas?
