I can confirm, this game is SLOOOOWWWW even on the "faster/newer" devices (8300, 8800).
Every time you hit the ball you have to wait 15-20 seconds until the next scene loads. Very annoying. Not even close to the arcades version.

Very disappointed.

So is there a pattern developing here as to when BPlay has a demo available? I love THK2 and KaGlom, both of which I was able to demo before buying. I bought World Poker Tour without being able to demo it, and it sucks. Sounds like Golden Tee is terrible too.

Anyone tried any other games that don't have trial versions? How about Chuzzle?

I will say that I bought Sudoku and there's no trial for that, and it's a great game.

At a bar if I'm curious about a beer I can get a taste before ordering a pint.

They responded right away and offered me another game (of my choosing) instead. As usual, great CS from magmic.

I figured thats what they'd offer. They have your money, no way you're getting a refund though!

Pick a game you can demo this time.

Same here. They responded within minutes and offered another game. But they did say that if I want to instead they will refund the purchase.

I think I'll go with another game instead.

Great customer service.

Dang! I should have done that with WPT Poker. I feel like it's been too long to complain to them now though. Good to hear that they were so accomodating, since most of their games are great!

A demo can only help sales, so why not?

Sure it prob costs a few more $$ to package a demo version but you would avoid having people ask for refunds.

I bought Call Of Duty 3; there was no trial and I played it for about 10 minutes before I got bored.

The trial version would protect the consumer from feeling like they wasted their money.

i also bought this game, and was disappointed with the speed of loading between shots/holes. as others have mentioned, it is almost unplayable. i usually don't buy things without having a trial period, but i went out on a limb on this one since i played a lot of golden tee back in the good old days..... figured i'd give this game a shot.

but also like others here, i must give credit to the Magmic CS team. they responded quickly and let me exchange the game for another.
