Default How can I keep 'Wireless' on?

Please Login to Remove!

I just got my 7520 today (w00t!) and I cannot figure out how to set my BB to always have wireless turned on.

I searched to no avail.

Anyone?

Wireless is always turned on -- on my BlackBerry.

What is causing your wireless to turn off? Can you explain when this happens?

Also what version of BlackBerryOS are you using, if you check Options->About?

v4.0.0.160 (Platform 1.4.0.27)

Well, I just got it hours ago, so that may be why, but I had to turn wireless on a couple of times.

It may be fixed now though...it hasn't done it for awhile. I'll check back in if it goes off again.

Thanks for your time Mark!

Update: I believe it was transferring apps to my BB that shut wireless off as I just loaded the Reply-To app (*works great*!) and it shut wireless off and I had to turn it back on.

Yes, I believe that whenever you install a new app on the BB, it has to reboot itself, and it's configured to reboot with the wireless turned off.

That explains it and makes perfect logical sense.

That is not quite true...my 7520 can reboot just fine and wireless is enabled. The problem is with the App Loader...as it reads the Radio Software Configuration it turns off the wireless for some reason. You have to re-enable it every time.
