My 7105 has never been on a BES. I upgraded to the Cingular 4.1 OS and everything installed correctly. When I look at my bluetooth information, though, I do NOT have Desktop Connectivity and Wireless Bypass listed.
My setup is Desktop 4.1, handheld OS 4.1 and meet all other specs. In fact, I had bluetooth sync working with an 8700 on this pc...

Anyone have ideas on how to fix this? I spoke to RIM and they didn't know why it wasn't working but said they couldn't do anything else for me since I was using the Cing 4.1 on a TMOB device...

I also tried to install the Starhub 4.1, but since I installed Cingular I can't get it to recognize the Starhub install...

Anyone have ideas ??? Please

Have you tried the Hong Kong release of 4.1? That's what I'm using on my 7100t and bluetooth sync works.

I just downgraded to the HK 4.1 version but still don't have the services available to do a bluetooth sync... This is driving me crazy :(

I just downloaded the T-mobile 4.1.0.309 and saw Desktop Connection and Wireless Bypass listed as bluetooth options. I don't, however, have bluetooth on my computer to test these out.

Thanks for the heads up that TMOB has 4.1 available.. I installed it last night but still can't get the Desktop Connection and Wireless Bypass listed as bluetooth options. I'm on hold w/ TMOB/RIM right now to try figure this out...
I'll post if they can figure out what's wrong...
