I upgraded my 7105 to 4.1 but was not able to get the correct bluetooth services showing on my 7105 for Bluetooth syncing... I talked to TMOB and they transferred my to RIM for support. The RIM person had my wipe the 7105 and reinstall the OS, verified that it wasn't ever on a BES and that there were no security policies on it. Then he had me run a utility on the 7105 and email the results to RIM for review. I was told someone in the escalation group would get in touch with me in 24-48 hours to resolve the issue.

It's been 8 days now and I've called multiple times to see what the delay is but just keep on getting told another 24-48 hours...

Has anyone run into an issue like this or have suggestions on what to do to get some actual support from RIM?

I just want the 7105 to work as it should....

What type of device are you trying to connect it to, and what drivers are on that device?

It's a 7105t and my laptop has all the correct drivers (I had an 8700 working fine w/ bluetooth sync).
The real issue is that after the 4.1 upgrade I still do not have the wireless bypass and wireless connectivity services in my bluetooth settings, so the laptop cannot connect w/ the 7105.
Nobody seems to know why these didn't show up after the upgrade..
I have 4.1.1.9 desktop mgr too... no BES ever, no IT policies...
I just wish I could get RIM to help me but they must be really backlogged since they are almost a week past their promised callback time...

This is a far off shot but have you unistalled the OS from your PC rebooted the pc and re-download (important in case the one you downloaded became corrupt) a fresh copy, and reinstall. Maybe even a different version if one is avaialble.

I love my blackberry but am getting a sour taste in my mouth from dealing with RIM...
