Default Right Launch Button Bug

Please Login to Remove!

It appears that the right launch button (which by default launches the camera), can only be used once. Then it becomes non-functional until a reset is performed. It doesn't seem to matter what you assign it to launch - after one use, it becomes non-functional.

I am not experiencing your problem. The button is much looser than with 8330 or 8830

fyi... just tried my right launch button and seems to be working for me. Take pic, view shot, press right launch key again and ready for next pic.

Almost all are under options then screen/keyboard and all the way at the top of the right side convenience is the nothing option.

the right button is made for using the camera, a light push focuses, while a hard push actually takes a picture. You need to make a hard push to activate whatever you have your right button set to open in the options.

It seems to be working okay now. One of those flukey things.

Mine is working fine.

I used to have my Curve set to lock for that button. Now with the lock button on the top, that option doesn't work.

Oh well. Just have to change my habits.

That's awesome... almost like a "real camera". Thanks for pointing that out.

Glad I found this thread - I was going to post the same problem. I did not realize the button has the 2 settings. Tried it again, and it works perfectly. Light touch does the auto-focus, harder touch takes the pic.

Yes, it's also the same with the Storm.
