Good Afternoon,

I have a problem with a Blackberry 8310.

Whenever the device is unlocked it sends an email. I'm guessing this is a setting that the user must have done something, but I can't work out what.

I've got a BES server and several hundred devices and this appears to be the only one with this problem.

If it helps the emails are in the below format.

Subject : Unlocked

Description :

Name: Joe Bloggs
Email:
PIN: 264EEEE5
Time: 2 Jan 2009 15:30

Can anyone help?

Welcome to the forums.

By unlocked, you mean the password is locked with a password and when it's unlocked it immediately sends that message? Sounds like an IT policy type of thing. I am pretty sure that's not something that can be set on the device.

What version of BES and environment (Exchange?) are you running?

What I mean by unlocking is->

I type in the password to unlock the keypad (to check emails etc) and it straight away sends the email.

Bes for Exchange (I think 4.1.6).

I think the user set it on the device, but I can find where....
