Portions of this software are based in part on the work of the Independent JPEG Group.

And the only option I can click is 'OK', and then nothing happens.
I also tried going to the BlackBerry website and downloading the installer there. The same dialog box opens up.

Is there any solution to this? :s

edit: Oh, and I'm running XP SP3, if that helps any.

Default Windows Insaller Problem

Same problem here. Just received my 8130. Can't get the software to install with the same outcome.

I can't find a solution on the network.

Default Solution Found

Shortly after my first post, I found a solution at this site:

(Blackberry Forum won't let me post the link because I don't have enough posts)

forums dot techguy dot org/multimedia/ 784305-solved-itunes-install-problem dot html

Basically, the windows installer has issues if your temp directory is pointing to a folder with spaces in it. The link indicates how to create a new temp directory, associate it with the system variables. After that, you should be good to go.
