Default Bluetooth headphones and car kit recommendations

Please Login to Remove!

I know there have been threads about this already, but they are all a few months old and companies come out with new stuff all the time. Also, people's tastes can vary over a few months as their current equipment gets used, and to comment on the longevity of said products.

I plan on starting to work out a bit this summer, so I plan on using my 8320 to play music while I exercise. I was wondering if anyone had a good recommendation for some bluetooth headphones. I have been looking around myself and found two that I think look decent:

Plantronics 855

Jabra BT620

The ability to talk through the headphones is a plus, but not required. I have never liked the earpieces because I want people to know that I'm talking on the phone and not to them.

Also, I'm looking for a good car kit to use so I don't have to keep a phone held to my ear while defending myself in rush hour traffic. Any suggestions on these? I've seen a couple on NewEgg that seem to be decent:

Motorola T505

BlueAnt SuperTooth

Owned and used the Motorola S9, and was fortunate to get a JayBird unit (JB200m), and have to say, they are the best on the market. They offer true sweat protection and are highly durable. I actually had my pair run through a snow-blower (true story), and they worked fine after. As for Bluetooth car clips, I have used the BlueAnt SuperTooth, Motorola T505, Jabra SP700, Parrot MiniKit. The T505 and MiniKit were tops and failry equal, while the others did not produce the same audio quality.

have bought numerous ear piece and speakerphone models and after all that I am sticking with the T505. Excellent sound, clarity, long batter charge. Only drawback is that at night it's a bit of a challenge to find the talk button to answer a call, but otherwise I find it the best unit out there.

It's expensive, but the Parrot hardwire kits are awesome.
