Default Camera Picture Quality MUCH Less since upgrading to .246

Please Login to Remove!

Anyone else experiencing this. All my pictures seem to be "grainy" or pixilated.

I am letting the camera focus, trying all different settings, and still not as clear as they should be.

the camera was better when I originally got the phone and before upgrading.

any thoughts would be appreciated.

Thanks

Are you shooting in the zoomed mode, reason I ask its easy to touch the screen and zoom in,this will cause your pictures to look grainy.

I am experiencing this as well. Might switch back to to .141. Quality of pics was way better.

That's not really a macro. A macro is an extreme close-up with great detail shown for the main subject. Often the background is used for contrast, as it will be extremely blurry.

There are some good DIY tutorials on lifehacker.com for creating a macro lens for your mobile camera... none of them invlolve actualy modding your device, just making something you can put on top of your normal lens... You won't get any true macro photos without creating a lens for it, just some good close-ups.
