Just got the strangest email addressed to my pin number. It was from with a blank subject. Body said automatically generated email: do not reply to this email.

You asked to have your password sent to your device.

Your password is ____________

I did not request my password.

A few days ago I got an email message from with no subject saying that one of my email accounts is no longer accessible by my BlackBerry device, and to go check my account on the BIS (which I just did).

Has someone gotten into my account somehow, or into one of my email accounts?

I have an 8703e on Verizon using BIS.

I get that second message when BIS can no longer access one of my mail accounts... such as a server went down. It doesn't mean someone accessed your account, just brings it to your attention that you won't be getting email from that account until you logon and see what the problem is.

Thank you for your response. I think that explains the second email, but not the first. I adjusted the settings in my BIS account and got the missing account working, but I still have no explanation for the password request. So I spent last night changing my various passwords. I suppose that's all I can do.
