Default Mailbox Folder Synchronization & Deletes

Please Login to Remove!

Ok, so if you create folders under your Outlook mailbox, but only have the Inbox and Sent Items selected for synchronization by default, and you move a message from your Inbox to a newly created folder (in this case "Test") under your mailbox it should now be in two places: the Test folder and in your Blackberry Inbox, right? Now, if I delete the message from my Blackberry Inbox, I was under the impression that the message that now resides in the Test folder within the Outlook mailbox would not be touched, but is instead also deleted.

So is it now my understanding that this is only true of personal folders stored locally on the hard drive and that even if a message is moved to a different folder under an Outlook mailbox that it will still be deleted when you delete the un-reconciled message from the Blackberry Inbox? Did that just make sense? Thanks in advance for any help!

Just curious, are you talking about using Outlook with Exchange, or via POP3 or IMAP4 to a mail server (which may or may not be Exchange)?

Sorry, definitely Outlook with Exchange, not POP3 or IMAP.

...did you check to see that the "test" folder isn't set to auto sync with your BB?

Yes, the Test folder was not set to synchronize with the BB.
