I never knew this but I always pressed menu key then close to close the program. From what I learned, just press the ESC key and it will auto close the program instead of leaving it running in background like the red "hangup" key.

Is this only in the new OS 4.5 ? if not then i must be living under a rock.

Escape and menu>Close does the same thing. Not new to 4.5!
