Default Reply emails on BES = attachment?

Please Login to Remove!

Ever since I updated the OS, I've noticed that when someone replies to an email on my BES account, it shows up in the inbox as having an attachment, even though there is no attachment associated with the mail.

Also since the update, the text of the original email, which is included below the reply text, is not formatted as well as it had been before the OS update. The text and section lines etc. are moved all around.

any input or proposed fixes?

thanks in advance......

Do you happen to know the version of BES? What mail platform?

You would have to for the BES version. Do you use GroupWise, Outlook, Notes for email?

I don't think it's an issue with BES as it appeared after you upgraded your device.

This was my thought as well, but no I don't have a signature; moreover it happens on every reply email I receive on BES.

Hello -

Do you see the attachment (paperclip) icon on just the blackberry? Or so you see the attachment (paperclip) icon in both the blackberry and Lotus Notes? Just replies from internal mail or just external mail or both? My initial thought was that the Lotus Notes (Domino) server is converting the formating to an attachment that Lotus notes is simply rendering (as a convenience) as the message body.

since yo mentioned updating the handheld O/S, it might be worth it to wipe the handheld, then reactivate it. If the issue is only on the blackberry side, perhaps a BlackBery service book has become corrupt? That's my second thought as to what might be wrong.
