yesterday i noticed i begin to receive text msgs. with the senders number included... has anyone else been fortunate enough to have the same experience? the number appears the same way as if another nextel sub sent you a text msg. since the number comes up underlined, you just click on the number and the call option comes up with the senders name (if saved in your addy book) im soo happy now!!!!!

nope still can't recieve or send texts.... at least i used to be able to recieve them but the MMS upgrade fixed that =\ people look at me like i'm retarded when i tell them that i can't get their texts on my blackberry

I noticed that yesterday too!!!! I thought it was a fluke. I have a Nextel 7520.
Yes, I just noticed it today. I thought it was my friend being a smart ass due to the fact I tell everyone to write their names at the end so I know who was texting me!
I still cant see them. I can only see #s if another nextel sub sends them to me, otherwise im stuck in the dark ages. I wish nextel would switch over to CDMA and add a TDMA band to an 8703 for the PTT. That would be the ideal phone
