www . blackberry . com / dst2007

Obviously remove the spaces, but just go to this site from your BB and follow the instructions.

By the way, my Sprint 8830 is also an hour off, but not my other Sprint 8830 users. Weird.

You go to that site from your Blackberry, not your PC.

so, I downloaded this file - rebooted.
Checked under Options -> 2007 DST Patch
is applied.

But my time is still 1 hour early.

My wife's Pearl changed time this morning but I thought it had an updated OS so the DST patch was not necessary. Her device is OS version 4.2.0.71; shouldn't the DST issue be resolved in this model?

My Curve is fine.

UPDATE: The DST patch worked without a reset, so no harm no foul. Just odd; I thought the device should already have that issue fixed.

Question

Hmm.. I might know the problem, although I don't know what the fix it.

I went to
Options -> Date/Time
and I could see the incorrect time..
But on the bottom 2 lines, it says "Network Time" which is the correct time.

I have my "Date/Time Source" selected as "network" but it's not updating it from the network for some reason. Hmmmm.....
I tried changing it to "blackberry" (what does this mean exactly?) and then back to "Network" and still no-go.

Obviously, I could just change the time to fix it, but the network time sync should work!
