...and can't say there's a huge difference. It seems a little snappier.

One feature I noticed is when listening to music via headphones, if you press and hold the microphone button it brings up voice dialing. I'm almost certain this wasn't the case in previous versions.

RIM if you're listening, having the ability to skip tracks via mic button would be much appreciated. Double click for next track, triple click for previous similar to the iphone.

As an iPhone owner as well, I wanted people to know the white earbuds work on the Bold along with the mic and button feature. They're much better designed than the uncomfortable set RIM ships with the Bold.

Wrinklefree,

I found that you can skip / rewind songs by holding the volume keys down. Vol Up skips track, Vol Down rewinds / previous track.

Yup I've noticed that too, however I would love the ability to skip tracks with the remote button because more often I have the phone tucked away in a pocket or backpack (when I'm mtn biking).

I just put 214 in and she is running hot now. It was not running hot at all with the 190. Anyone else notice this?

I can tell it is alot faster now though. I will sit on this for ahwile tos ee if it goes away.

Everything is working well except I cant download aim. it says its not compatible or it may be my berry already. How can i find the icon?

I have not noticed any issues like this yet; been running 214 for 2 days now. Downloading 215 as we speak. Will try it out tomorrow.

Just upgraded from .190 to .214. Seems more responsive and everything I have seems to work fine.

Google is your friend. At least one other Black Berry review site posts links, but I don't think it's allowed to link directly to sites that are prepared to do that, is it?

Downloaded 215 yesterday. Have had at least half a dozen crashes/resets today. Currently downgrading back to 210. 215 is the most unstable OS I have installed on my Bold.

Try .216, it's WAY better than .215.

Stick with either .210 (which is very stable) or go to .216. Both .214/.215 are awful..

.214 seems fine to me. .215 seems to be universally considered a pile of poo. Just pondering how I might benefit from .216 over .214?

Mind you I just read a rumour/post somewhere else that .216 may be a "fake" - someone just renamed .214! LOL!

Its funny you should say that. I googled for 210, and didn't pay much attention - just downloaded the file. When I checked the version post "downgrade", I discovered I had downloaded and upgraded to 216.

So far, it is more stable than 215 - no crashes so far.

Just got the Bold yesterday went straight from .167 to .216 and my battery life is doing great so far (Brightness:40, Backlight timeout:30 sec, auto dim and LED off, Bluetooth and WiFi on always). I'll let you guys know after 24hours after downloading.
