been running bes since 3.x and there's never been any reason for us to use IT policies. we're at 4.1 sp4 now, and have doubled our user base. took a look at the policies that are available, and i still don't really see anything other than the things related to passwords that we could really use.

....unless i'm missing something? is there anything cool/interesting that people out there do with policies?

Well ... I guess the first question to you is "Is there anything that you feel like you need to control on your users devices?"

There are lots of cool device management options ... but only if you can justify them as a business need.

yeah, that's what i was thinking. i think i was just looking for motivation to see if we could use them.

after looking at it again though, we'll probably wait to see what else they put out in policy management in the future.
