Welcome to the forums.

What happens if he deletes a message on the device, does it delete in Outlook? Does this same user have the same issue with read messages?

Does the user have Wireless Reconcile enabled on the device?

Hi guys
just getting back to you now...

What happens if he deletes a message on the device, does it delete in Outlook? Does this same user have the same issue with read messages?
Both are failing, deleting on either outlook / blackberry fails to remove the mail from the other. ie deleted on blackberry, not delted in outlook, "read" in outlook, mails are showing as unread on blackberry

Does the user have Wireless Reconcile enabled on the device?
im not sure, and cant find the option for this, can you point me in the right direction? he did say that it was working up until a week ago.

thanks.

On the device go to Messages - Options - Email Reconciliation and check the settings there. They should probably read

Delete On - Mailbox and handheld
Wireless Reconcile - On
On Conflicts - Mailbox or Handheld wins, user choice.

Default thanks

hi David
thanks for that info, it sorted it out. he must have turned off the wireless and or the Wireless Reconcile options.
once i brought back the wireless, and changed the settings to the ones you mentioned it worked again, just needed to do "Reconcile now" option i think it was.

thanks again.
