We are having performance issues on our Domino Mail server which go away when the BES is stopped. Config: Domino 2GHZ Xeon E4400 4Gb RAM, Windows 2003 SBS Server 250ish users BES 2GHz Core2Duo 3Gb RAM, Windows 2003 Server 55 BB users, all mail files on the primary Domino system There are the usual 40 threads started by the BES to connect to the mail server which show as 40 user tasks on the domino console. The question is, can we reduce that 40, and if so what to? Everything I can find online talks about much larger setups than thsi and increasing the number of threads? I have reduced the scan time for 20s to 60s and it hasn't really made a difference. __________________ BES, 4.1.7, was SBE now full BES Domino v7.0.2 Windows Server 2003, standalone
