Hello all,

THis isnt actually a device specific question and I'm sorry for possibly posting in the wrong area.

So, say if I were to possibly explore a diffrent device for a week, and removed my BIS feature from my service, is my email address forever gone, or will I be able to get it back when I reinstate my BIS plan? Has any one attempted this? ATT says no, but basically (from my perception) they have no idea, and RIM support is closed until Tuesday.

Any input would be great, thanks!

Do you mean canceling your Blackberry data plan on a temporary basis?
If yes than I don't see why your email addy could not be taken unless they (ATT and or RIM) put a type of block on email addresses to avoid confusion

Yes, just temporary...About a week

See, I feel the same way, almost seems as if its common sense, but the guys at the att store say I will lose it for good. From experience, being an old Sidekick user, Danger would keep your email address for 6 months before taking it out of their system.

Seeing there are so many BB gurus here I thought someone would be able to give me an educated answer.

I left my provider for over a year then went back and they still had a hold on it. I used my old password and user name and I was back up and running...
