OK, here's (another) weird one:

My Application Center icon will not come off the little App switcher toolbar.
It will also NOT RUN from the little App switcher toolbar.

I can run it from the home screen with no issues and i have closed it several times from the menu. I have also done several power resets too. wtf???

It was fine before the .75 update. Just the 5 base app icons were there.
(Phone, Browser, Home Screen, Messages & BB messenger).

I'm new to BB's so maybe I'm missing something?

Anyone else experiencing this? It's not the end of the world, but it is friggin' weird.

because it is running with auto update. Disable that function and close it.

I'm having the same issue. Where is that option to disable auto update? If you're talking about unchecking the "Auto Refresh" from the App Center menu this does not resolve this issue.

Not sure what Auto Update is.
I've tried disabling Auto refresh to no avail.

I've tried multiple restarts\power resets.

ETA - I get it now. I unchecked Auto Refresh, then restarted.

Got my icon to go away by opening the App Center, hitting the BB/Menu button and unchecked "Auto Refresh List" then did a battery pull. Icon is now gone.
