Default Shazam-SETUP-Error#1204

Please Login to Remove!

Newbies- (I R 1)
If you get this SETUP ERROR message... you must go to
Options->Advanced Options->Applications ...
find Shazam ...
hit the BB Key(Menu) ...
select "Edit Permissions" ...
select "Interactions"
hit the BB Key(Menu) ...
Select "Expand"
find "Recording"
change to "Allow"
hit the BB Key(Menu) ...
select "Save"

back out and you're done...

BTW - I cannot believe they released the app without full screen Storm support.
What does that say about the Storm?

Might be the build (I'm on .114hybrid) or could just be the way the install went.
I'm interested to hear how many people actually DID NOT have the problem...

So... I can't find it either. But it's still listed on the appworld web site...
Sounds like the the intro was an APRIL FOOLS JOKE! That some of us got!
I just tried the app - just to be sure it was up. Worked fine.
Check again later.
Or >.. Does BB have a Complaint line?

Default Shazam Working On My Storm

I downloaded shazam the day app world released and the release has some problems. I do not see it in the app store any more. they probably pulled it to fix it.

I went to Blackberry app page and found a link to the Shazam app on AppWorld. But when I pulled up the Shazam page all is there except the download button is not selectable. So no way to download it any more. Anyone?

The link I got was emailed to me from:

I am hoping that someone can help me out. I am having problems installing the Shazam application. I downloaded it from App World fine and installed it however when I try to setup Shazam it keeps giving me error message #1302 (Sorry, Shazam can't connect to the Internet. It might be a problem with your mobile's connection. Do you want to retry? ).

I have gone into the security settings and changed everything to allow except for keystroke injection and browser filtering as they only give me the option of Deny. The Phone, Location (GPS) and Company Network are set as prompt as that is the only option other than deny.

I am running v4.5.0.81 and this is through my companies BES, could the Shazam issue be related to BES or the version of the software? Any other settings that I could change or try to get this working?

I'm having the exact same issue. I'm running an 8330 on Verizon with 4.5.0.75 installed. I went into Applications>Shazam and I was able to set everything to Allow and I still get the same error.

I used the Contact Support link on Shazam in the App store to report the problem but I haven't heard back.

I'm also running BES - not sure if that's an issue.

If anyone can help, we would greatly appreciate it. Thanks.

If you haven't already, you might try a battery pull.
It believe this will force the apps to acquire permissions they don't have when they are started. Not sure. Worth a try if you haven't been successful.

I have tried taking the battery out but no change, I am assuming it must be something to do with BES however I am not sure and I am not sure how to get around that aspect.
