Cool VistaBB - Windows Vista Aero Theme for 83xx/87xx/88xx

Please Login to Remove!

Hi there, recently I have been working on a Vista Aero Style BlackBerry theme.
I decided it post it on here in order to share it with others.
I designed:
  • Signal and Battery Meters (From Scratch)
  • Banner (From Scratch)
  • Zen Tabs and Overlays (From Scratch)
  • Dialog Buttons (Using Screenshot)
  • Data Transmission Icons (From Scratch)
  • Loading Animations (From Scratch)
  • New Items Overlay (From Scratch)
The rest was all configured strategically in Plazmic.

Uses all the Actual fonts in vista: "Segoe UI"

Credit goes to CrackBerry Gallery for the Vista Ultimate Background.

Screenshots:

This did take a lot of my own time and I would greatly appreciate a donation of any sum.
If you choose to do so click on donate below (uses PayPal).

N.B This theme requires OS 4.5 or higher.

If I used zen themes, this would definitely be one to look at!

I tried it out, and it looks great. Only qualm is that they aren't user customizable. I would suggest going back to themebuilder and doing so.

Thank-you for raising this point, I am looking into it now and shall then update the download.

On the homescreen, when you have an icon selected, go to Properties, then check the block that says Use Device Application Order.

Icons reconfigured for user selectable order possibility and also I will eventually update this again slmoney once I remaster and recreate all icons using Vista's. Should be done by the end of the week.

Homescreen font doesn't seem to match, other than that, it looks pretty cool.

The only thing missing for me is the notification icons in the banner. Enough room for 3-4 would be great! (ex.Message, SMS, BBM, Facebook etc.)

Nice work.

Yeah i'd thought about that too; trouble is that the title bar is at the ratio of reality to vista's task bar size and practicality. Only one can display at a time however the one that displays can be any of the normal ones except it is only one.
I shall address this issue however in the next release.

I love this theme, the only thing that could make it better is if the fonts would use the fonts I pic & also when your on a call if you could match the call screen to a more Vista look (like the incomming wallpaper but with a vistaish cuve.) I will donate when I have some cash in about a week, look for a donation from Romeo

You can easily use the fonts you wish by selecting them in Options>Screen & Keyboard>Font Family

If you wish to reuse the original theme fonts just go to Options>Theme, then click trackwheel/trackball and select "Reset Theme Defaults"

Thanks in advance too for the donation

I just downloaded it. Looks pretty good. Not a fan of the moving icons, but overall, very nice job.

Yeah they now go along the bottom of the title bar, I am just exporting them now, I also have made the title bar semi-transparent so you can see your desktop through it like in real vista aero.
