Default Dumb question

Please Login to Remove!

Hi guys this is probably a stupid question but where do I find my device IMEI. I have the pin# but I can't find this other number. I guess I need it to sign up on the BIS site. By the way I'm trying to create a signature on my outgoing emails if anyone can help. Thanks!!

Wirelessly posted (8310)

For the signature thing, if you're on BIS you should be able to set a sig in your carriers email-options (at least that's how I did it, probably varies a lot from carrier to carrier).

I have Tmobile and the way that I signed up my signature is logging into Tmobile's website and going to my email options. It had it there. I don't know if Verizon is the same??

I actually have the same question. When I was on T-Mobile you could change the signature by going to email settings, but with Verizon it appears you can't change it. The field is there, but it doesn't allow you to edit the text box. I've only tried on the actual device itself. Can anyone confirm you you can change it? As much as I like Verizon I don't feel the need to advertise for them everytime I send an email. I am using BIS.

You have to log into the BIS site via PC, not through BlackBerry. There you can edit your signature. And also Verizon still uses ESN instead of IMEI

thanks for all the quick replies but I still can't figure it out. From a previous answer he stated that verizon uses an ESN number. On my box I have my PIN and two different ESN numbers one is DEC and the other is HEX. I tried one to sign in to the site and it stated that "your account is not accessible via HTML browser. Please use your device to access Blackberry Internet Services". Any other sugestions?
