Angry Use BESx for E-mail ONLY

Please Login to Remove!

Hello

We are a small chairty using SBS 2011, we have 2 users with BlackBerry devices, to allow them to access their Exchange account like other mobile users we had to get BlackBerry Enterprise Server Express (got to love a bit of proprietary software )

Is there anyway, preferably without BES(x) at all, of allowing the 2 users access without all the security policies and stuff? So their E-mail, Contacts, Calander and Tasks are synced, but the deivce is not at all restricted, you know like all other mobile manufacuters that support exchagne do.

IT Policy is an integral part of BES. It's not possible to have a BlackBerry handheld activated on BES without having an IT Policy pushed to the device.

That said, just use the Default policy which comes with preconfigured on BES.
There are no restrictions placed on the handheld using that policy.

BIS doesn't meet the OP's requirements.

"So their E-mail, Contacts, Calander and Tasks are synced"
