Wow, that is a cool site.

Umm..I am a pilot, so I will be looking for aviation stuff.

This is a old thread...but yes, there are pilots out here who are interested.

Thought that I posted this already...maybe I just didn't really push the "go" button.

Anyway...I use fltplan.com (note flt...not flight) for most all of my flight planning. I use it for wether....flight plans..and etc for all over the U.S. There is a strong support for jet/corpprate flights. It is FREE TOO.

So, I also use it on the BB. There is a smaller BB viewable site at.

http://fltplan.com/pda.htm there you can file, get routes, weather, aiport info....and more.

Cool. Our company is currently working on a project for G4's. We are in the commercial side mainly though, 707's thru 767's, DC-9's and 10's, Fokker F100's. Always good to hear from others in the industry.

Man...way to make a pilot feel inferior.

I fly a Super Decathlon (my favorite bird), a lolely Citabria and the occasional 172 (All rented, I don't own 3 airplanes) Any other general aviation pilots on this board?

Thanks for the cool websites. While not a pilot yet, hopefully I will start that soon, I do alot of flying with my father-in-law in his Stearman. And these sites are always useful for longer flights.

Default Private Pilot Roll Call...

Posting in from Beautiful Washington State.

Private ASEL with Instrument rating.
Currently a penguin (I have not flown for about a year) after owning a Cherokee PA-28/150 for ten years and renting for six.

I can't seem to finish off my instrument rating. I need to just ditch work for about 2 weeks and finish it up in one marathon run of flying lessons.

I don't think I'm going to be doing much instrument flying anyway....I've had my tailwheel endorsement for about 6 months now and since then I've had little desire to fly anything other than low and slow in Decathlon/Citabria.

And in the spirit of this board, here is a no nonsense WAP site I found that allows you get a quick METAR: http://www.wunderboy.org/wapmet/search.wml

All you need is the 4 digit airport code.

I flew my first plane last week, a Piper PA 38-112 Tomahawk.

I will hopefully be going for my PPL this Summer, really looking forward to that. Great links guys, I'm sure it will be a bit before I really need this, but it's fun to use with MS Flight Simulator.

That will be one of the most joyous and expensive decisions you make in your life. Right up there with marriage.

Good to see a showing in the aviation community. One thing I would love to see, and you corporate guys aren't going to care, is FLICA for the BB. Our scheduling software is available for palm and ppc but not the BB yet! Oh well.. great sites!!! Thanks!
