Is your country set in your phone because of the os or is it hard coded into the board? Google thinks I'm outside of the U.S. And didn't know why. Bought as new from walmart but looks like it may be a refurb.

The area code for the number you attempt to use as the Google Voice home number could be the problem. What area code is your cell phone in?
