Ani, I (twice) filled out my name and email address and have never received a new version notice, not for 0.7, 0.9.1, or this new 1.0. I've also emailed support with a bug and never heard anything back from them.
Why bother to collect email addresses with the intent to inform of upgrades if you're never actually going to use them?

generally with all the softwares update emails take a bit longer .. and they are sent after a while.. when everything seems stable and sleek.. that might be an issue here as well.. ani is the right man to comment

You need to identify yourself as an Empower/Mobylo team member, it's starting to get a little old of all the people from your team doing followup posts as if you were random forum members. Only by looking at your post history was I able to understand why you bothered to reply to me with a useless answer.

Rivvie, I have not mailed anyone yet with an update. Its hard to decide who will find it good, and who will think we are spamming them. So I try to be cautious with emails at least.
I have made all release announcements here itself on BBF.
Thanks.

Hi,
I'm a tad confused about the free licence part, I've been using this since one of the very early versions and have been recommending it too all my colleagues . I put my email address at the time, like some of the others I have also not received notification of updates, that in itself isn't a big issue, however I notice on the release version I have downloaded you have a register button, and I'm a little concerned since you said it would be free for the first 10,000 beta users that I may for some reason have missed an email with a different download link or something that doesn't require registration??

From Moderator jibi:
They aren't. Seems more like the people from xxxxxxx, to be honest - same neck of the woods.

Yet another irresponsible assumption. The people at xxxxxxx.com wanted me to tell you that they are not affilliated with any university in any country other than the US, and that the idea that they are using a proxy server in another country is ludicrous. I am also asked to say that your owner, Tom Golgowski, aka "Guess", has been in touch with xxxxxxx.com and claims immunity from all damaging statements because BBForums is based in Canada and is therefore subject to International Law, as opposed to US Law.
I "guess" that that is it for me.

Scaevola,
I guess you have the correct download urls. OTA is at http://www.getEmpower.com/emv.php -> this you need to type in if you are using the BlackBerry Browser.
The link for downloading to PC is http://www.getEmpower.com/emvzip.php -> this you can type in any PC based browser (Firefox, Internet Explorer, Opera etc) and will download you a ZIP file that can be used for installing Empower using DM.
Also, php page would load in the browser only, and not on your dreamweaver.
Thanks.
Ani.

ckinglam. The offer closed long back and the licenses have already been mailed. There is a public system where you can check your license, resend if necessary etc - http://www.getempower.com/syslookup.php
Thanks for trying Empower tho !

I tried the resend and still did not get the email. I work for a state government agency and wonder if it is getting filtered. If so, could I use an alternate address?
