I recently went from a 3 yr old Pearl to a Torch and am slowly learning about many new things.
I tried searching this problem, but didn't find any similar, and the last time I had an issue with my Pearl I found this forum very helpful.
I just downloaded the blackberry traffic app, and I double checked that my GPS device locations setting are on, and that my Blackberry Maps is working (pinpointed my location to within a block), but then when I go to open the Blackberry Traffic App and try to open it a window just pops up saying "GPS enabling failed" and I have two options - 1) Try again (which just fails again) and 2) Exit application...
Is there anything that I am missing in trying to run this app?

Do a hard reset -- with power on remove battery for at least 30 seconds -- and then try again. If that doesn't fix it, remove the app and then reinstall and then try again.

Thanks for the advice. Yanking the battery out didn't work (although was satisfying) so had to delete and then reinstall the app, and now all is fine.
