Default BlackBerry won't activate

Please Login to Remove!

I have 2 BlackBerry Bold's and I'm trying to activate a user. I've added them and deleted the user several times. I get stuck at contacting server. The user gets the message from RIM in their inbox but both devices (not at the same time) she gets stuck on contacting server and it eventually times out. I can activate the device under my account just fine.

Any thoughts on what to try? Ive also done a Security Wipe on the device.

This is BES Express if it helps.

Nope just one device - I was using two because I can't get either of them to work. I know the device has data. I can send the registration message. I can't help but think it has something to do with her mail file but what else can I rule out? As I said above the RIM message makes it to her inbox. The BlackBerry devices themselves will activate find under another account. But it will not light up under her. It acts as though it can't find the server.

Just the one everyone else is a part of - Standard policy. The only thing we enforce is passwords on the devices.

have you run a permissions test?

also check MAGT log for any errors with the user

Just in Case: Check if the users account has enabled forwarding (even in copy) to another users account. Disable any kind of forwarding (you may enable it again after activation was sucessful).

Verify the documents in the BlackBerry smartphone user's Profiles database. If the the time stamp does not pre-date the time the account was added to the BlackBerry Enterprise Server, remove the BlackBerry smartphone user account from the BlackBerry Enterprise Server, delete the documents, and then add the BlackBerry smartphone user to the BlackBerry Enterprise Server.
