Default OMG!!! Just downloaded a 25880K podcast using Opera 4.2 using ATT 3G network...

Please Login to Remove!

Long story short... I was bored on my way to the gym and wanted something to listen went to WMexperts to download their latest podcast .
Couldn't do it with the BB browser... So I said to myself what the heck let's try it with Opera mini 4.2 since they put the new US servers is fast I went to the webpage click on the download link ask me where to save and it started without a pause... WOW!!! I feel like I discover America , I just didn't thought it was possible with BB ... Just perplexed.

I heard it could be done according to Steve 0 on this site. I am definitely going to try.

With the iPhone 2.2 update you are limited to 10GB over 3G ... any bigger download is restricted to WI-FI... I did it all over network

Default garbled text in opera

Are there special settings for making Opera 4.2 run on the Bold? All I get is garbled text on every web site when I try to run it.

RIMM should do like HTC... They made OPERA the default browser on their phones and kept ie hidden... Opera is the one to have...

it doesn't seem to support 9000 at the moment...blah! Anyone having a luck. I was trying the pc download...not accessing the mobile one. Should I try it directly from my bb? (internet browsing disabled on it..by IT policy!)

On the Opera mini site it does not list the Bold as a supported device. Any help with what to do from that point?

From your BB Browser go to operamini.com and click the link to download. I have Opera Mini on my Bold and it works flawlessly...

If you do it from your BB browser, it doesn't ask you for your model. Only if you download it to your PC.

I was on my BB but maybe Operamini has a mobile site which I was not on. I will try again @ operamini.com from the bb.
