i just got a7100i and it was described as new on ebay but im using it on boost the question that i have is that the icon for the internet is not on the phone i have the cd rom will that help

The 7100i was released about 5 years ago. I'd question if you actually got a new 7100i.

There is a good Boost forum over at HowardForums: Your Mobile Phone Community & Resource - HowardForums Home that may be able to help you change it over to Boost.

Cd rom or 5 1/4 floppy? Gotta know why you would go with such an old phone?

my phone broke and that was the cheepest

so the original cd rom of the phone will bring back the icon for the internet

Oh ok that makes sense, well hope you get it worked out.

And no I don't think the cd rom is going to be your fix, might check out that link NJ posted for some help.
