I'm coming off of a treo device and really REALLY liked the toggle switch at the top that switched from no sound to sound.

Is there any way to set up one of the convenience keys on my 8130 to toggle between two profiles? Right now I have it set to open the profiles dialog, then I can select quiet or normal.

I thought that there might be a more elegant solution

You can set either one to go to the profiles section but I don't think you can set it to automatically switch profiles.

The # key automatically puts it on the Vibrate profile. You can change that profile to do whatever you want.

Let me expand upon my answer... hold down # and it will change to the vibrate profile. Hold down # while it is on vibrate will return it to the profile you were using before you changed to vibrate.

I don't believe this is possible. The solution you have is probably the best. The convenience key only opens up applications on the device. It won't work in the manner you would like it to.

oh yeah that's exactly what I'm looking for!
