Default Storm 2 - files saved as .jpeg.rem

Please Login to Remove!

Hello everyone, my name is Dylan and this is my first post here.

I own a Blackberry Storm 2 and have a problem which I already have solved, and which has probably been asked 100 times already. If the data encryption on your phone is enabled, pictures will be saved as .jpeg.rem instead of .jpeg.

Now I already disabled it, but I still have ALOT of pictures (from a visit to Vegas... def need to upload those to FB!) who are all saved as .jpeg.rem.

Now if I'm correct, the only way to get the pictures working on your laptop/computer is to send them via e-mail, is this correct? (I tried viewing the pics on my laptop via the cable but I couldn't open them).

Now, the problem is I have around 100 pictures which I would like to view on my laptop... if I have to send every single one per email, it would take forever... is there a faster way to fix this problem?

Thanks in advance.

Another option, though not any quicker, is to move the files (using the BlackBerry) after you disable encryption. Once moved, the file will no longer be encrypted.

Also, be aware you can set encryption but exclude media. Just FYI if you didn't see that.
