Default Several questions from new user...

Please Login to Remove!

I thought the software would probably allow me to type in all my contact names and numbers on the computer and then upload to the blackberry but I don't see a way to do that readily available. It would be a lot faster since I have to copy everything from my other phone. I could store to the sim card and copy but my blackberry is locked to t-mobile so it won't read the sim.

Is there any easy way to unlock a t-mobile blackberry without screwing with the hard ware?

What is the best way to use skype on a blackberry?

Does the black berry have wifi? How do you use it? Can you use it to make VOIP calls?

Thanks.

For unlocking the BlackBerry you can use an unlocking service so you don't have to mess with the hardware.

The Pearl currently does not have WiFi.

You need to purchase a code to unlock the Blackberry. contact GSMPhoneSource.com. TMo will do it for you if you've been a customer for 90 days in good standing.

You can type the names and numbers into Outlook and then sync Outlook to the BB.

No wifi on the Blackberry, sorry. TMo is rumored to release a wifi blackberry this fall....we'll see.

brh, you enter the contacts into Outlook or any file (like excel) that you can then save to an ASCII file, and sync to the BB via Desktop Manager. Also, according to what other kind of phone you had, you might could use the Switch Device Manager in Desktop Manager.

GSM PhoneSource - When Only The Best Will Do is also a good, timely unlocker.

Good luck.
