Yes. I also have this error. Although I should note that DM never errors out when backing up for the purposes of a software update.
I work around this issue by creating a new backup and selectively transfering the databases individually. Time consuming to be sure, but it gets the job done.

You might try at least posting the error message. My ESP is a little cloudy this am.

Besides, it likely is not an error with the address book, but rather your data, maybe, being corrupt. What were you using before DM 4.6?

seems like there are headaches with DM manager recently and now OS of 9000...not like the old days when it was rock solid outta da box !

i also had trouble backing up .134
im back on .92 and working as it should again

thinking back on it. i just dumped that backup altogether, and restored from my backup before i moved to .134.

maybe its a problem with .134?

The only issue with using DM 4.5 is it won't backup the built in storage memory. DM 4.6 supports that.

I figure it is related to .134. Suffer the annoyance and manually back up the databases until a new OS release is out.
Or you can just do a Vulcan Mind Meld with your device!

Had the same issues when I first got my Bold. Upgraded the OS and tried DM 4.7 and still got the same problem. re-installed 4.6 and downgraded then upgraded again not sure when it started working but it did very strange indeed.

I have the same issues with the error messages on Browser, and a few others in the backup process...so I also do the advanced backups that seems to work...with the exception of browser cache that comes up with error every time...not sure why but on advanced everything else backs up....so I will wait for the next OS to see if that fixes the normal back up problem.... OH well, I still like my bold!!!

I was getting the errors while backing up. I just rebooted my PC and pulled the battery on my BB and everything worked after that.
