One observation about the .102 OS... When I start up fresh I have around 25.9 MB free in my Berry. I just use DocsToGo as the only 3rd party app. Even after 2 days of normal usage the free memory was around 25MB. But the moment I play songs using the media player I see a memory loss of around 3MB even after ensuring that I close the app (Menu - Close).

Has anyone noticed such behavior on their berries?

It's the best OS I've had so far. Upgraded from a buggy .81 and I'm very impressed.

Wirelessly posted (Blackberry Curve 8320)

So the majority of you are seeing your memory drop into the teens then holding steady? I'm still on .52 and am cautious about updating to any of the more recent versions becasue until .52 every other OS I used usually drained my memory to 0 and I'd have to do battery pulls daily. I don't want to install .102 and see that vicious cycle start back up.

That's what I'm seeing - memory drops into the upper teens and generally stays put. But the UI feels more responsive than with prior versions, such as not having to wait 30 seconds for the UI to come back after I hit "delete prior" the way I used to with older versions. I'm not seeing any reason to fall back to a prior version.

Installed it yesterday morning. Very stable and seems to be considerably faster. Memory leak leaves me with about 10 solid mb of memory but I haven't taken off some of the preloaded apps. Best 4.5 OS yet IMO.

I like that .102 has sorted out the sensitivity of the volume buttons in the media player. I know it is supposed to change tracks if you hold down the volume buttons, but I found in prior releases that when merely trying to change the volume it would also change tracks.

I've noticed JiveTalk takes longer to start up in .102 and I sometimes get timeouts, which rarely happened in previous 4.5 versions.

I notice one mention of faster UMA connection. Does anyone have a slower connection? By connection, not the speed itself, but getting UMA once the wifi network is seen.

It seems a lot slower to recognize when turning wifi on or walking into wifi range. The network name comes up fast but from then to UMA showing seems a lot slower than .69 or other prior versions. Once connected it seems rock solid, just slow to get there.

I've had this for awhile now.

Has anyone noticed a significant decrease in battery life?

I can't even go 16-20+ hrs without my phone dying. Before the upgrade, I was getting roughly 2.5 days form normal use.

No additional apps installed.

I am having many of the same issues as all of you. Losing memory from 21MB to 14MB even when everything is idle, and a drain on the battery. I cant even make it through a whole day, when I used to only use a quarter in a whole day. Other than these 2 issues, .102 is good.

Hoping to see .110, soon

I downloaded the firmware from the T-Mobile website and I too lost the MyFaves after the upgrade to 4.5.0.81 firmware. Did you find any solutions?

BTW, you can try to push the MyFaves from your my.t-mobile.com account, under the section that manages your myFaves. T-Mobile guided me there today. However, it did NOT help me. It just kept giving me an error on the handset every time MyFaves was pushed to it. The error was "Uncaught exception: java.lang.NullPointerException".

If you have any ideas, please share. Thanks.

Its also missing the "internet browser" in the advanced options. Just me?
No it is not you. I spent a day on the phone with T-Mobile and Blackberry yesterday. They had me wipe my handset and restore from backup. That got me the myFaves back on the handset but I lost the Internet Browser. Then they pushed it to me. That installed, but I lost MyFaves again.

Guess T-Mobile has some coding issues in their system that is incompatible with v4.5 firmware.

Not only am I getting battery drain, after a while the hour glass will appear about every 5 seconds with the data arrows going crazy. I have all applications shut down and it still does this until I reboot. This is the 4 or 5 night in a row I had to reboot this thing. I will be changing OS this weekend.

Upgrading to .110 has fixed all my issues. My battery life is back to 2-3 days. Yay!
